Hello, my name is Katie and I've been painting and sharing magic through art for more than ten years.  I began with acrylic abstract paintings and let my journey take me to where it is today. 

I am a self-taught artist and crafter. As I mentioned, I began with acrylic paintings when I moved into my first apartment thought maybe I'd have more fun making my own art for my place while possibly saving a few bucks.  It was not an instant connection, I tried many different ways of coming up with designs, had many experiences of not getting something that looked remotely close to art I'd display but eventually something came together as I continued to explore. 

Over the years, I began exploring other mediums falling in love with the fluid medium Alcohol Inks.  

My art world exploded with the discovery of these inks and has opened up my interest in exploring more mediums and creative styles.  I now work with ink, make mixed media art.
